Choose one of the following topics to write a composition of about 80 words.
Either topic one:
Use the following notes to write a composition about the consequences of a dramatic rise in temperatures within a decade.
“ What would happen if temperatures were higher than expected in the next 10 years?”
- More countries are developing their industries.
- Excessive burning of fossil fuels.
- Earth in peril.
- Earth temperatures higher than expected.
- Irreversible consequences: disturb the life cycles of plants and animals, hotter areas ,loss of natural habitats, no seasons, extinction of some animals ,some plant species stop growing naturally.
- Radical change in ecosystem and man’ way of life.

Topic two:
What countries are polluting planet Earth most? Why? What must they do to reduce their pollution?
As most countries in the world are developing their industries, there is more and more burning of fossil fuels. This intensive global human activity is seriously threatening planet Earth.
Imagine that temperatures dramatically rose in the next ten years because of this excessive global industrialization. The consequences would be certainly irreversible
First of all, there would be no seasons at all. This would disturb the life cycles of plants and animals for good.
Second, most areas of the planet would be hotter than usual. As a result, most animals would lose their natural habitats .Many plants would stop growing naturally. In short, many animal and plant species would disappear.
To put it in a nutshell, the ecosystem of most areas would radically change and man would be obliged to find new ways to survive.
