II Observe and Learn

I am Sofia. have got one brother whose name is Kader. He is seventeen  years old. My mother is a housewife and my father is an engineer. Our house is rather big. We all love animals. We have a dog and a cat, but neither of them is mine. Both of them are Kader’s pets. I’m always happy to see them playing together. Both get along, which is an amazing thing!

Remember what Sofia says about her family pets:

“We have a dog and a cat, but neither of them is mine. Both of them are Kader’spets”.

Both of them are Kader’s pets = Both the dog and the cat are kader’s pets.

They are are kader’s pets.

The word "them" is the object pronoun of “they” and refers to the dog and the cat.
