Producing a written message
Write a paragraph.
In order to write a clear and organized paragraph, there are three steps to follow:
Step 1 - Structure
A paragraph is divided into:
I) A topic sentence: it is the main idea. It tells us what we will find in the rest of the paragraph.
II) Supporting sentences: Usually two or three sentences. They contain an idea and a detail.
III) Concluding sentence: We give our opinion or a piece of advice about the topic.
Step 2: Generate ideas (brainstorming)
We should write all the ideas we have about the topic. It's ok if our ideas are incomplete or disorganized.
Step 3: Organizing ideas
In this step, we need to organize our ideas into the correct structure (topic sentence, supporting sentences, conclusion)
